NetNewsWire Lite 1.0.2b2 helps reduce bandwidth consumption.

Along with supporting ETag and Last-Modified headers, it also resets the refresh clock when you do a manual refresh-all. The default subscriptions now includes only large sites—no weblogs—so as not to cause folks to pay extra charges for bandwidth used by their sites.
